Hard Island is not just a festival - it is a summer holiday gathering of hardstyle and hardcore lovers from all around the world. Swim, dance, splash, have fun and enjoy on Zrće Beach. The days are sunny, nights are hot and the sea is simply perfect to jump in.

Hard Island 2017 takes place from 3rd till 6th July 2017.

The minimum required age to attend Hard Island is 18+.

Alcoholic drinks will be served only to visitors 18 years of age and over, this is the law in Croatia. You may be asked to provide identification proving your age. Please bring valid proof of identification with you so that you do not risk being refused entry. Valid proof of identification includes a driving licence, valid passport or identity card.

Unlike the north of Europe, summer in Croatia is hot with blue skies and almost no rain. Temperatures range from 27 to 35 degrees Celsius. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen!
Not in presale. All presale festival tickets (including the ones included in accommodation packages) grant access according to the official festival program (TBA) during all official festival dates (July 3rd - 6th 2017). However, some daily tickets might be available on the door, if the festival is not sold out in presale.

ONLINE SHOP

Yes! All your information is processed by a safe system from our official ticketing and travel agency GoNParty, which is embedded into our Online shop. All information is encrypted and processed safely.

For payment with credit or debit card, upon reaching STEP 4, simply follow instructions below:
1. Prepare your card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro)
2. Click on the button below and wait a few moments
3. Enter the details of your card and click ’Pay’

For maximum security, all payments are processed by Braintree Payments, a PayPal company. Their processing system is embedded into our Online shop.

Please note: If your Maestro card does not have a 3 digit CVV number on your card, then you need to find another debit/credit card from family member or friends.
You can sign-in to your profile by going to the shop and clicking on sign-in. In order to obtain the password for the first time, you need to click on I have forgot my password and send it to the email which you have used in order to make a booking in the first place.
You can do the following things: (i) edit your booking information or add extra additions, (ii) download the Booking Confirmation PDF, (iii) view details of your current booking or (iv) pay for any unpaid or partly paid bookings you’ve made so far. Additionally, you can also edit your details or change your password.
If your was not completed, there are several possibilities. First check if you mistyped your credit/debit card number or your security number. If it’s correct and payment is still not processed, check with your bank if you have sufficient funds for your purchase or if there is a daily limit set on your card. The daily limit needs to be at least 1 EUR higher than the amount you want to pay. If it is lower, you need to ask your bank to raise or remove it. If you still can’t process your purchase successfully, please contact us via our live chat support, email help@hardisland.com, Facebook message.
First you receive a booking reception email, which confirms that we have accepted your order. It will be confirmed after the payment is completed. After successful payment a payment confirmation email will be sent with attached PDF document ‘Booking confirmation’.

Many people ask the question: "When will I get my voucher?" We know it feels unusual to not get your voucher/ticket immediately after finishing the booking process, but we think that it is better for our customers to get the voucher just before the festival, print/save it then and not think too much about it - that way you don’t have to look for it in your emails later, worry if lose access to your email, etc.

Also, we want your voucher to be perfect. There is important information related to the purchased offer we want to include on the voucher to make it more practical and informative, and that info is unfortunately not available yet due to complex logistics of organising an amazing holiday for thousands of people coming from all over the world to Hard Island.

So, we promise to send you the voucher with all info you need, as one simple but yet very informative pdf document. Just be patient, you will get it ample time before your arrival.
The booking confirmation is an official document issued by GoNParty to the customer (payee) as proof of the booking and payment. It is the main legal document that verifies the formal relationship between GoNParty and the customer. It also serves as an invoice after the services have been provided.
The voucher is an official document that is being exchanged for the appropriate service/bracelet at Hard Island 2017. The person doing the booking (client) is also the person receiving the voucher.
This is entirely your choice. You can either print the voucher or simply show it on your smartphone.
Nothing. The amount is automatically transformed to EUR according to daily currency rates.

HOLIDAY PACKAGES

With our third edition of Hard Island Croatia we are introducing many new holiday options. We offer Hostel packages (Bed in a shared dormitory room), Apartment packages (Standard or Premium), Exclusive apartments and Villas (only upon inquiry) and Hotels. Details and presentations of each accommodation option can be found here. You can ask us extra questions regarding accommodation by sending us an email to help@hardisland.com.
You can choose between the following options:
5 nights: Check in: July 2nd 2017, check-out: July 7th 2017
7 nights: Check in: July 1st 2017, check-out: July 8th 2017
10 nights: Check in: July 1st 2017, check-out: July 11th 2017
Or any other period upon inquiry.
Booked for 1 > You will be grouped with your friends. If you are coming alone you will share accommodation with another group (Hostel)
Booked for 2 > You will have your own private accommodation for two (Standard)
Booked for 3 > You will have your own private accommodation for three (Standard)
Booked for 4, 5 or 6 > You will have your own private apartment (Standard)
The deadline for any type of requests regarding your LOYALTY booking is February 1st 2017! Grouping requests have to be reviewed and confirmed by our team and will be confirmed at our discretion. We do not guarantee all group requests will be confirmed however we will do the best we can to fulfill the wishes of our visitors.

Want to be grouped with your friends or extend your stay to 7 or 10 nights? Want to upgrade your accommodation (and only pay the difference in price)? Send us an inquiry to info@hardisland.com.

No! You will share an accommodation unit with others only if you have purchased a Hostel Package (Bed in a shared dormitory room). Staying in a shared dormitory room is a great opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world. All other accommodation possibilities are private and are NOT shared by any other group than your own.
No. We offer only a variety of apartments, hotel rooms and villas because we want our visitors to have a proper relaxed holiday. Camping on the island is relatively expensive, so for the same price or a minimum difference apartments are sooo much better.
Then we suggest you book our Hostel Package (bed in a shared dormitory room). We do not offer single rooms or apartments, but we can combine you with other partygoers who are also traveling alone like you. This is the best way to meet new friends from all around the world!

However, if you would really like to stay alone, a single hotel room is a possibility. Please send us an email to info@hardisland.com and we will create a tailor made package for you.

You can ask us extra questions regarding the shared accommodation by sending us an email to help@hardisland.com.
Every accommodation owner will present you the rules of their accommodation and collect a safety deposit before giving you the accommodation key. Safety deposit usually ranges from 30-50 EUR per person, but can be higher for luxurious accommodations (even 100-150 EUR per person) and will be returned to you before your departure, if you haven’t damaged the accommodation or equipment inside it. In other words - don’t break stuff or cause damage and keep everything clean as possible - everybody happy!
Every visitor must bring a copy of their personal ID or passport because apartment owners need to check in all their guests.
You will receive the name of the accommodation and your assigned check-in point once we send out the vouchers. On the voucher there will be all the needed information for you to find your designated check-in point. Upon checking-in you will be escorted to your accommodation. The accommodations will be clean, tidy and prepared for your arrival.
All the current accommodations will be located in Novalja. Check out the island map here.
Some of our accommodation packages, specifically Exclusive apartments, Villas, Houses for groups and Tailor made packages, are sold upon inquiry and not in the online shop. So you send us your wishes in an inquiry form and we make a special package just for you. Once you agree with the offer, we will make a booking for you in our system and simply send you a link to STEP 2 of your booking process. Your accommodation is reserved once at least ⅓ of the total payment is complete.

HOSTELS

You will only have to share your room if you purchase a bed in a shared dormitory room. Every other room or apartment in the hostel, as well as every other holiday package we offer is private and is NOT shared by any other group than your own.

If you want to stay in a private accommodations, then we suggest you to check the rest of our packages here.

STANDARD APARTMENTS

No, all our apartment accommodations are private, so your apartment is NOT shared by any other group than your own. You can however expect to have neighbours attending Hard Island already, so don’t miss the chance to make new friends!
Not with standard types of apartments. If you want us to guarantee the air condition and WiFi you will have to purchase a premium apartment.
You can request this at STEP 2 of the booking process under ‘Notes’. We cannot guarantee to grant every request, but we will process it by looking at our supply of suitable apartment accommodations for your group and decide depending on the availability.
Yes! You can request for your apartment to be situated in Gajac at STEP 2 of the booking process in ‘’Notes’’. The number of accommodations in Gajac is very limited and can be sold out at any time. Gajac is the closest accommodation area to Zrce beach - Festival venue, check the island map.
Apartments for less than 4 people in Novalja are very rare, especially in the same price range. For full comfort we suggest you to book a 2+2 apartment (one bedroom with a double bed + sofa bed for two in the living room/kitchen area) by choosing ‘’Choose Quantity = 4’’ at STEP 1 and removing 1 or 2 festival tickets at STEP 2 of the booking process. If you happen to have a new friend joining your group later, only an extra festival ticket is needed, while the accommodation has already been covered. Bare in mind that you are not paying for 4 people, but paying for the price of the apartment divided between maximum number of possible guests.

Another possibility is sending us an inquiry for a tailor made package. Currently we still have limited availability of standard rooms and premium studio apartments for 2 or 3 people.

EXCLUSIVE APARTMENTS & VILLAS

We received many emails and the interest for villas and exclusive apartments is huge. All inquiries are being processed on the ’first come, first served’ principle and handling of each takes time. After we send an offer to a customer, we have to communicate details and get final confirmation. We have already sent offers to the fastest inquiries and we are waiting for their confirmation. Then we move on to next inquiries…

Please send us all information requested in the inquiry form (exact number of people, relevant dates of stay etc.). Complete inquiries will be handled with priority. For each exclusive apartment we will send you an offer with general information, information about the location, photos of the accommodation and Super VIP option (for groups of 4+). After that you have 3 days to provide us with feedback or we move on to the next inquiry.

As you can see, the process is not simple and we will need some time to get back to you. We hope you understand. For sure we will not forget about your inquiry!
Exclusive apartment packages prices start from 349 EUR per person. The price is subject to length of stay, luxury of the exclusive apartment (e.g. with or without swimming pool) and number of people.
Suitable size is 2 persons or more (there is no upper limit). Exclusive apartments are much more suitable for smaller groups than villas and we therefore advise you to make an inquiry for them instead if you are with a smaller group.
Villa packages prices start from 449 EUR per person, but can also be higher than 1000 EUR per person. Even villas differ in luxury and size, making the price range quite wide. The price is also subject to length of stay.
Suitable size is 6 persons or more (there is no upper limit). You can of course book a villa as a smaller group, but be aware it might be more expensive.
Yes! In fact, we highly advise everyone to first book standard or premium accommodation. What you’ve already paid will be deducted from the total price of the offer, so send an inquiry and include the details of your existing order in it.

TRAVEL

Flying is the most comfortable and fastest way to get to Hard Island. We highly suggest you fly to the following three airports - Zadar (about 1,5 hours away), Split (about 3,5 hours away) and Zagreb (about 5,5 hours away) respectively.
If you choose to fly to one of the three suggested airports, you will be able to book our official transfer from the airport to Hard Island and back at the end. Shared transfers will be limited only to our official check-in (1st & 2nd of July) and check-out days (7th, 8th and 11th of July), while we offer private transfers also outside those dates. You can book your transfer from the airport and back at the end through our shop here. Keep in mind, if you have booked packages with us you will get a discount for transfers!
We will offer private van transfers and shared transfers from Zadar, Split and Zagreb airports. You can grab your airport transfer, as well as your local bus ticket in our official Hard Island Shop. Local bus helps you move fast and easy between your accommodation area and Zrce beach.
PRIVATE TRANSFERS: Zero waiting at arrival & back at the airport several hours before your departure, car or a van transfer (depending on the group size), price is for the whole van regardless of the number of people (max 8 people = full van). Available for any arrival or departure date between 1st and 11th of July.

SHARED TRANSFERS: Shared transfers will be driving only a few times per day at fixed hours, bus transfer price of a shared transfer is paid per person. Shared transfers will be limited only to our official check-in (1st & 2nd of July) and check-out days (7th or 8th of July).
You can help yourself with our service called flight watch. We have searched for the cheapest flights from all over europe and are frequently updating them on our flight watch. If you can’t find a suitable flight on the flight watch, we advise you to contact our customer support team! We offer LIVE Support Chat on our website. You can book your transfer from the airport and back at the end, as well as the local bus ticket through our shop here
If you want to really make sure, book a Private airport transfer. No waiting time and you book the whole Van for yourself and your friends (up to 8 people per van).

In case of SHARED AIRPORT TRANSFERS, the times of the rides are fixed, so make sure you are arriving plenty of time BEFORE the last shared airport transfer! If you arrive later, you need to purchase Private airport transfer.

Keep in mind you not only need to think about the time of each transfer, but that you also need at least an extra hour for the airport check-in and boarding process.

Hard Island does not currently accept applications for employment. If this policy should change, we will make announce it on our website and social media. If you believe you can provide value, we could consider taking you onboard as a volunteer. Please send your proposal to info@hardisland.com.
Hard Island does not currently accept applications for performers. We will however host a bigger and better Wildcard competition in 2017! Stay tuned for that on our social media and it might just be YOU, who will perform at Hard Island 2017.
